agree的用法
1. agree with
①表示同意某人或某人的意見、想法、分析、解釋等 (即持同一觀點(diǎn)):
I don’t agree with you. 我不同意你的意見。
They agreed with this idea. 他們同意這個(gè)想法。
I agree with what you say. 我同意你說的。
②表示“ (食物、天氣、工作等)對(duì)…適宜”:
The weather doesnot agree with me. 這種天氣對(duì)我不適宜。
Hard work does notagree with him. 艱苦的工作對(duì)他不適宜。
③表示“與…一致”:
A verb must agree with its subjectin person and number. 動(dòng)詞必須和它的主語在人稱和數(shù)方面保持一致。
What he does does not agree with what he says. 他言行不一致。
2. agree to
①主要用來表示一方提出一項(xiàng)建議、安排、計(jì)劃等,另一方同意協(xié)作:
We agreed to their arrangement. 我們同意了他們的安排。
She agreed to marriage. 她同意結(jié)婚。
有時(shí) agree to 也可用來表示“答應(yīng)”一件自己不愿做的事:
I was forced to agree to it, but at heart I didn’t quite agreewith it. 我被迫答應(yīng),但內(nèi)心并不完全同意。 ②后接 suggestion, plan, proposal 等名詞時(shí),與 accept 同義:
Do you think he will agree to (=accept) my suggestion? 你認(rèn)為他會(huì)同意 (接受)我的建議嗎?
③其后既可接動(dòng)詞原形 (此時(shí)to是不定式符號(hào)),也可接動(dòng)名詞 (一般有邏輯主語,此時(shí) to是介詞):
He agreed to go with us. 他同意同我們?nèi)ァ?/p>
I never agreed to Mary marrying him. 我從來沒同意瑪麗嫁給他。
3. agree on [upon]
①主要指雙方通過協(xié)商而取得一致意見或達(dá)成協(xié)議:
We agreed on the price. 我們就價(jià)格達(dá)成了一致意見。
Both sides agreedon these terms. 雙方都同意這些條件。
②后接動(dòng)名詞 (=agree to do sth):
He agreed on lending (=to lend) us some money. 他同意借給我們一些錢。
Mary agreed oncoming [to come] on Monday. 瑪麗同意星期一來。
4. 兩點(diǎn)用法說明:
(1) 后接表示人的名詞或代詞時(shí),一般只用 agree with。
(2) agree 不能接不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu),所以漢語的“同意某人做某事”,不能直譯為 agree sb to do sth, 而應(yīng)根據(jù)情況改用其它結(jié)構(gòu):
他們同意我去。
正:They agreed to let me go.
正:They agreed to my going.
誤:They agreed me to go.
