- sign的基本意思是“標(biāo)記,符號(hào)”,指寫(xiě)在或刻畫(huà)在物體上的,代表具有固定意義的一種簡(jiǎn)明的符號(hào)或標(biāo)志,使人一看便知道它所代表的意義。sign引申可作“手勢(shì),姿勢(shì)”“信號(hào)”“征兆,跡象”解。
- sign后常接of短語(yǔ)作定語(yǔ),有時(shí)還可接動(dòng)詞不定式或that從句作定語(yǔ)。
