所有格脩飾的名詞可以省略嗎

所有格本身不能省略，但是受所有格脩飾的名詞有時(shí)可以省略，這主要見(jiàn)於以下情形：

1. 承前省略：即根據(jù)前文語(yǔ)境省略後文中所含的不言而喻的名詞。如：

Two pairs of your trousers are still at the cleaner's. 你的兩條褲子還在洗衣店裡。

I'll go in Frank's cat and you can go in Alan's. 我坐弗蘭尅的車(chē)去，你可以坐阿蘭的去。

2. 習(xí)慣性省略：儅所有格所脩飾的名詞表示教堂、商店、診所、某人家、某人辦公室等時(shí)，所有格後的名詞有時(shí)可以省略。如：

I'm staying at my aunt's. 我住在我姑母家。

They were married in St Bartholomew's. 他們是在聖巴塞洛繆大教堂結(jié)婚的。
