close與closely用作副詞時區(qū)別

1. 用於本義，表示“接近地”“挨近地”“緊緊地”，兩者都可用。close 通常放在動詞之後，但在過去分詞之前要用 closely。如：

He was standing close to the door. 他靠門站著。

We followed close [closely] behind him. 我們緊跟在他後麪。

We were so closely packed in the elevator that I could hardly move. 我們在電梯裡緊緊地擠在一起，我?guī)缀醪荒軇訌棥?/p>

2. 用於引申義，表示“仔細地”或“緊密地”，通常用 closely?？煞旁趧釉~之後或之前，或過去分詞之前。如：

She listened closely while he read. 他讀時她仔細聽著。

He closely studied this problem. 他仔細研究過這個問題。

The two events are closely connected. 這兩件事有著緊密的聯(lián)系。
