familiar的用法大全

familiar 表示“熟悉的，親近的，或隨便的（表示不滿）之意。”

1.familiar 作“熟悉的”用時(shí)，可與with/ to 連用。

be familiar with sth 某人對(duì)某事物熟悉

sth be familiar to sb 指某事物爲(wèi)某人所熟悉

例句：

Most people are familiar with this figure from Wagner's opera.

多數(shù)人對(duì)瓦格納歌劇中的這個(gè)人物是熟悉的。

His voice on the phone sounded familiar to me. 他在電話上的聲音我聽(tīng)起來(lái)很熟悉。

2.表示“友好的”時(shí)，familiar通常與介詞 with 連用

例句

He's familiar with us. (=He's on familiar terms with us). 他與我們關(guān)系很友好。

She greeted them by their first names in a familiar way. 她與他們打招呼時(shí)親切地直呼其名。

3.表示“過(guò)分親密的”“隨便的”，也常與 with 連用。如：
