接動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)的動(dòng)詞

英語(yǔ)中有些動(dòng)詞后接另一個(gè)動(dòng)詞作賓語(yǔ)時(shí)，用作賓語(yǔ)的動(dòng)詞習(xí)慣上要用不定式，不用動(dòng)名詞，這類(lèi)動(dòng)詞主要admit(承認(rèn)), advise(建議), allow(允許), appreciate(感激), avoid(避免), consider(考慮), delay(推遲), discuss(討論), dislike(不喜歡), enjoy(喜愛(ài)), escape(逃脫), excuse(原諒), fancy(沒(méi)想到), finish(完成), forbid(禁止), forgive(原諒), give up(放棄), imagine(想象), keep(保持), mention(提及), mind(介意), miss(沒(méi)趕上), pardon(原諒), permit(允許), practise(練習(xí)), prevent(阻止), put off(推遲), report(報(bào)告), resist(忍住), risk(冒險(xiǎn)), stop(停止), suggest(建議), understand(理解)等。如：

She admitted having read the letter. 她承認(rèn)看過(guò)這封信。

We don't allow smoking on this plane. 在這架飛機(jī)上我們不允許抽煙。

I appreciate being given this opportunity. 非常感謝給了我這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)。

He dyed his beard to avoid being recognized. 他染了胡子，以免我們認(rèn)出他來(lái)。

He considered going to see Paul in person. 他考慮親自去找保羅。

They discussed selling the house. 他們商量過(guò)賣(mài)房子的事。

We forbid smoking during office hours. 我們不準(zhǔn)在辦公時(shí)間抽煙。

Whenever I mention playing football, he says he's too busy. 我一跟他提踢足球的事，他就說(shuō)太忙。

I can't understand neglecting children like that. 對(duì)孩子那樣毫不經(jīng)心，我不能理解。

注意：有些動(dòng)詞如allow, advise, permit和forbid等，后接動(dòng)詞要用動(dòng)名詞，不用不定式，但如果它們后面跟有賓語(yǔ)，則可以在賓語(yǔ)后可接不定式。比較：

Would you advise phoning, or shall I wait a bit longer? 你看我打電話好，還是我再等一會(huì)兒好?

Would you advise me to phone, or shall I wait a bit longer? 你看我打電話好，還是我再等一會(huì)兒好?
