英語(yǔ)謂語(yǔ)的省略

一、在有些特殊語(yǔ)境中，有時(shí)可以省去句子的謂語(yǔ)。如：

Only one of us was injured, and he just slightly. 我們當(dāng)中只有一人受了傷，而且只是輕傷。

分析：he后省去謂語(yǔ)was injured。

We went through the tests on a Monday. Jenny had hers during the day, and I mine after work. 有一個(gè)星期一，我們進(jìn)行了檢查。詹尼在白天，我是在下班之后。

二、有時(shí)可省去謂語(yǔ)中的主要?jiǎng)釉~。如：

I pitied her sincerely, as I would a child of my own. 我真心地愛憐她，就像愛憐我自己的孩子一樣。
