enough的用法
1.enough做形容詞,“表示足夠的,足夠量的”,通常與for連用。如:
They had enough cash for a one-way ticket.
他們有足夠的現(xiàn)金買一張單程票。
Her disappearance and death would give proof enough of Charles' guilt.
她的失蹤和死亡將提供足夠的證據(jù)證明查爾斯有罪。
2.enough做副詞,表示“足夠地, 足夠量地,相當(dāng)?shù)?rdquo;如:
I was old enough to work and earn money.
我到了可以工作、掙錢的年齡了。
I'm serious, things are difficult enough as they are.

3.enough做名詞,表示“足夠的人或事”,如:
Although the police say efforts are being made, they are not doing enough.

4.enough做代詞,表示“夠了”,既可代表可數(shù)名詞,也可代表不可數(shù)名詞。如:
