前綴 super- (sur-,supr-,sop-,sopr-,sove-) = over,above
前綴super-來自拉丁介副詞super，意為“over",還有“over,above,beyond,than,more,excessively”的含義。前綴sur-,supr-,sop-,sopr-,sove-是super-的變化型。super- 既可以作為原生前綴存在拉丁借詞中，也可以作為派生前綴跟名詞、形容詞及動詞相綴合，構(gòu)成許多常用詞，與super結(jié)合的單詞，多是拉丁借詞，本族語詞較少。這些派生詞都是17世紀(jì)出現(xiàn)的的，此外，在構(gòu)詞過程，派生前綴super- 一般不改變詞基單詞的詞性。
